Meet Our New Travel Partner - DOLPH !!

A very lucky find

2006 F150 XLT Supercab, with only 20,000 miles and loads of warranty to spare!

It has an 8 foot tray with the exact topper (tray roof) that we were looking for

And it's all ours!!! (lovingly named Dolph, yes like Dolph Lundgren in Rocky 4. Why? Well why not, it had to be something 'capable' and.... not soft....and...well there isn't really a good reason, we're just so brain dead these days that we couldn't think of anything else.)

Well, for the next 20,000 miles at least

But until May (the start of our USA road trip).... it sits in my (Monique's) parent's garage snug as a bug in a rug (Thanks again Dad for EVERYTHING)! Now we just have to accessorize Dolph with BBQ's and roof racks and all those sort of things - but that will have to happen when we get back to the USA, exciting to look forward to!!

This is very exciting news indeed. Funny to see photos of snowy America after boiling hot South America. Anyway, GREAT FIND. Are you sure 2006 wasn't a typo in the ad because this slick machine looks brand new!!! I am not even sure my hire car will look this good. And now I have to come up with a flash name. Besides Avis.

Purchase appropriate vehicle to keep up with 'tearing up those freeways' Helen: TICK!
